First Sergeant Jeremy J. Castellucci
Inspector-Instructor Unit Senior Enlisted Leader

First Sergeant Castellucci is a native of Woodbridge, Virginia. He attended high school in Tampa, Florida and graduated in 2001 from Tampa Catholic High School. First Sergeant Castellucci enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Delayed Entry Program in February of 2003 and began recruit training at Parris Island, South Carolina on October 27th, 2003. He graduated Recruit Training on January 24, 2004, as a Private.

After becoming a basically trained Marine, Private Castellucci became a recruiter assistant and reported to Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry East, Camp Geiger, North Carolina in February 2004. Private Castellucci was assigned to Bravo Company and graduated from the School of Infantry, Infantry Training Battalion in April of 2004 as a 0331 Machine Gunner.

Upon completion of infantry training he was promoted to Private First Class and received orders to 1ST Battalion 8TH Marines, 2D Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Private First Class Castellucci spent four years with 1ST Battalion 8TH Marines, Bravo Company, he would earn the billets of a Machine Gunner, Machine Gun Team Leader, Machine Gun Squad Leader, and Provisional Rifle Squad Team Leader and Squad Leader. In 2004 he deployed to Iraq from June to January 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province conducting operations in Rawa, Haditha, Hitt, and Fallujah. He was promoted to Lance Corporal in December of 2004. Lance Corporal Castellucci attended Advanced Machine Guns Leader Course in July of 2005 and graduated in August 2005. Immediately following the completion of the course his unit was sent to Hurricane Katrina Relief, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force KATRINA in September 2005 and returned to North Carolina at the end of October 2005. Seven months later in 2006, he deployed with the 24TH Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean getting promoted to Corporal in July of 2006. The Battalion Landing Team conducted training in Kuwait, Pakistan, Jordan, and Somalia and was responsible for the evacuation of American refugees from Lebanon during an insurgency uprising in the country. The unit returned from the deployment in December 2006. Then, Corporal Castellucci, deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from September 2007 to April 2008 conducting operations in and around the city of Ramadi. During this deployment he was promoted to Sergeant in December 2007 and he received orders to Drill Instructor School, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina.

Now Sergeant Castellucci, reported to Drill Instructor School, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina in July 2008 and graduated September 2008. He was assigned to Delta Company, 1ST Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment. During his tour as a Drill Instructor Sergeant Castellucci completed nine training cycles and held the billets of Green Belt Drill Instructor and Senior Drill Instructor.

In March of 2012 Sergeant Castellucci executed orders to 1ST Battalion 3D Marines, 3D Marine Regiment, 3D Marine Division and reported to Bravo Company, Weapons Platoon. During this time he deployed three times to Okinawa, Japan as part of the Unit Deployment Program conducting three Korean Marine Exchange Program exercises and Jungle Warfare training. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant in October 2014 and at the end of his tour with 1ST Battalion 3D Marines he received orders to School of Infantry West Camp Pendleton, California.

Staff Sergeant Castellucci reported to Combat Instructor School in July of 2017 and graduated from the school in September of that same year. Upon graduating the course he was assigned to Delta Company, Infantry Training Battalion. After nine months in Infantry Training Battalion, Staff Sergeant Castellucci transferred to Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, Infantry Unit Leaders Company, Infantry Unit Leader Course and was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant in September of 2018. After Gunnery Sergeant Castellucci completed eight cycles with Infantry Unit Leader Course he reported to Marine Corps Forces South, Southern Command, Doral, Florida in November 2020 and held the billet of Training Chief in the G-33 section until March of 2022. While at Marine Corps Forces South he was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant and received orders to Weapons Company, 3D Battalion 25TH Marines, 25TH Marine Regiment, 4TH Marine Division.

He is currently the I&I First Sergeant at Weapons Company 3D Battalion 25TH Marines and his personal awards include (1) Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal in lieu of 5th award, (1) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in lieu of 7th award.
