Colonel Wallace graduated from Fresno State University in 1992 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and earned a Masters degree in Education from Central Michigan University in 2000.  In 2012, he graduated from the Air War College earning a Masters degree in Strategic Studies.

Colonel Wallace was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in 1992.  From 1993-1997, he served as an Infantry Officer assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment and Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division. 

In 1998, he was accepted into the Marine Corps Active Reserve (AR) Program as a Supply Officer.  His assignments include S-4 RSU-W 1998-2000;  H/S Co I&I/S-4 4th LAR 2000-2002.  G3 Current Operations Officer, 1st FSSG (Fwd) 2002-2004;  G4 Plans Officer, MARFORRES 2004-2006;  G3 Current Operations Officer, Marine Corps Logistics Command 2006-2009; G4 Operations Officer, II MEF 2009-2010;  G4 Deputy, II MEF (Fwd) 2010-2011; Student, Air War College 2011-2012; Force Deployment Section Head, National Plans Branch (HQMC/PP&O) 2012-2015;  AC/S G3/5, Force Headquarters Group, MARFORRES 2015-2017. 

Colonel Wallace’s personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (6th Award) and Navy Commendation Medal (3rd Award).
