Inspector-Instructor, Combat Logistics Regiment 4 Lieutenant Colonel Michael Myers
Lieutenant Colonel Myers was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant at Norwich University in 1992 and subsequently attended The Basic School in Quantico, V.A. where he was designated an Infantry Officer.                                      

Lieutenant Colonel Myers’ assignments have included Fleet Marine Force tours in the 1st and 2nd Marine Divisions.  He has commanded infantry units at the platoon and company level, and also served in operations billets at the battalion and regimental level.  While Lieutenant Colonel Myers was assigned as the Inspector-Instructor for Fox Company, 2d Battalion, 23d Marines, he participated in OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM I as a watch officer with 7th Marines.  In addition, Lieutenant Colonel Myers served as the Future Operations Officer for 2d Marine Regiment from 2006 – 2008, where he deployed with the regiment during OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.

Lieutenant Colonel Myers has served tours outside the Fleet Marine Force to include Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, and Inspector-Instructor for Fox Company, 2d Battalion, 23d Marines in Salt Lake City, Utah.  His most recent assignment was as the Training and Education Command G-3 Plans and Policy Section Head, in Quantico, Virginia.

Lieutenant Colonel Myers’ professional military education has included attendance at the Infantry Officers Course, and Amphibious Warfare School.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in History.

Lieutenant Colonel Myers’ decorations include: Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal with one gold star, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
