First Sergeant Davis is a native of Bremerton, Washington. He graduated from Bremerton High School in 2008. He enlisted into the Marine Corps in February 2009 where he underwent Recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, CA.
Upon completion of recruit training, Private First Class Davis reported to the School of Infantry West (SOI-W), Infantry Training Battalion (ITB), Camp Pendleton, CA. There he received the Military Occupational Specialty 0311 (Rifleman). Upon graduating from SOI, Private First Class Davis received orders to Marine Barracks Washington DC assigned to Alpha Company. Here he preformed the duties of a Ceremonial Marcher. Private First Class Davis was promoted to Lance Corporal in September 2009.
In August 2011 Lance Corporal Davis received orders to 1st Battalion 7th Marines (V1/7) Company D, aboard Marine Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, CA as a rifleman. In March 2012 Lance Corporal Davis deployed to Helmand Province Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Lance Corporal Davis was promoted to Corporal in April 2013. In March 2014 Corporal Davis deployed to Afghanistan with V1/7 Baker Company as a Team Leader in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In April 2015 Corporal Davis was promoted to Sergeant. As a Sergeant he remained with the unit and deployed as a Squad Leader to Air Base Al Asad, Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
Sergeant Davis executed orders in July 2016 to The SOI-W, Camp Pendleton, CA in assigned to ITB, Co D as a Combat Instructor. Sept 2017 Sergeant Davis completed Infantry Small Unit Leaders Course, gaining the primary MOS of 0365. In Oct 2018 Sergeant Davis was promoted to Staff Sergeant, completing Infantry Unit Leaders Course in Sept 2019, gaining the primary MOS of 0369.
Following hit tour at SOI-W Staff Sergeant Davis received orders to 1st Tank Battalion as Platoon Sergeant for Scout Plt, H&S Company in Dec 2019. Here Staff Sergeant Davis deployed in June 2020 with Task Force Elise to the Oceania region in support of Expeditionary Advanced Basing Operations concept development. In 2021 Staff Sergeant Davis received orders to Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group, aboard MCAGCC Twentynine palms, Ca. Staff Sergeant Davis was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant in Dec 2022.
In April 2023 Gunnery Sergeant Davis received orders to Recruiting Station Baton Rouge and was assigned as the Station Commander for Recruiting Sub Station Jackson, MS. Gunnery Sergeant Davis was promoted to First Sergeant April 2026.
Upon promotion, First Sergeant Davis reported for Duty to 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Detachment Support Wahpeton, North Dakota. Where he currently serves as the Inspector Instructor Unit Senior Enlisted Leader.
First Sergeant Davis' personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one silver star and one gold stars, Combat Action Ribbon and a Bachelors of Arts Entrepreneurship From American Military University.
