First Sergeant Diaz enlisted in the Marine Corps on 10 May 2010 and attended recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina. Upon completion of recruit training in August 2010 Private First Class Diaz attended Marine Combat Training, School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, North Carolina. Upon completion, she reported to Camp Johnson, North Carolina, where he was assigned to the Marine Corps Financial Management School and assigned the military occupational specialty of 3432, Financial Technician.
In December 2010, Private First Class Diaz reported to 3rd MLG, CLR 37, Camp Butler, Okinawa as a Finance Technician Clerk. Private First Class Diaz was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in August 2011. Lance Corporal Diaz was promoted to the rank of Corporal in December 2012.
In February 2013, Corporal Diaz reported to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Quantico, VA as a Finance Technician Support Clerk. In April 2013, Corporal Diaz assumed the duties as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Defense Travel System. In January 2015, Corporal Diaz was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
In February 2016, Sergeant Diaz reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California we're she assumed the duties as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Internal Control Section and later as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Defense Travel System.
In March 2018, Sergeant Diaz was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant and was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 27, Camp Lejeune, NC as the Defense Travel System Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge.
In May 2021, Staff Sergeant Diaz returned to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California where she assumed the duties as the Defense Travel System DTS Staff Noncommissioned Officer. Staff Sergeant Diaz was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant in November 2022.
In January 2023, Gunnery Sergeant Diaz was assigned to the SNCO Academy aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, where she served as instructor for Sergeants and Career School. First Sergeant Diaz was Promoted to the rank of First Sergeant on 28 May 2026.
In June 2026, First Sergeant Diaz executed orders to C Company, 1st Battalion 2th Marines where she is currently serving as the Inspector Instructor First Sergeant.
First Sergeant Diaz personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (gold star in lieu of 4th award), and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (gold start in lieu of 4th award).
