HM1 (FMF/EXW) Jorge L. Gonzalez Jr. 

 


 

Hospital Corpsman First Class Jorge Gonzalez enlisted in the Navy on 22 January 2007 and attended Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL. Upon completion of basic training, he attended Hospital Corpsman "A" School in Great Lakes, IL with subsequent training at the Field Medical Training Battalion located in Camp Lejeune, NC. 

His duty assignments include Naval Hospital Twenty-nine Palms, CA; 2nd Battalion 6th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, NC; Naval Health Clinic Parris Island, Beaufort, SC & Naval Special Warfare Group Two, Little Creek, VA, he is currently assigned to Marine Forces Reserve since 7 June 2019. 

His deployments include Marjah, Helmand Province Afghanistan (2010-2011), Trek Nawa, Helmand Province, Afghanistan (2011-2012) & SOUTHCOM (2017-2018). 

He has qualified as an Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, and Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), Combat Action Ribbon, campaign medal and ribbons.
