Destructive Weather

The mission of the Marine Corps Support Installation's Emergency Management Program is to provide policy and oversight on all installation emergency management initiatives in order to ensure mitigation, preparation, response and recovery to emergencies and disasters in an all-hazards environment. Focused on saving lives, reducing human suffering and reducing great property loss, the program will:

- Develop plans and procedures to ensure the highest levels of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.

- Maintain a comprehensive, risk-based, multi-hazard emergency management and training program.

- Coordinate with federal, state and local resources for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery operations.
