Marines, Sailors, family members, veterans, and the local community joined together this past Sunday to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the loss of 15 Marines and one U.S. Navy Corpsman in the July 2017 crash of a Marine Corps KC-130T in Itta Bena, Mississippi. On board were 16 great Americans representing the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy. Nine Marines belonged Marine Air Refueler Transport Squadron 452 (VMGR-452) based at Stewart Air National Guard Base, Newburgh, N.Y., six Marines and one U.S. Navy Corpsman with 2d Raider Battalion from Camp Lejeune, N.C.
