ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Senior Leaders Leave Their Ranks at the Door

Senior leaders from across Marine Forces Reserve work on untangling themselves while participating in an exercise during the Senior Leadership Workshop at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Jan. 23-26, 2017. The Marines and Sailors participated in multiple exercises and discussions that address differences in leadership styles, perspectives, experiences, backgrounds and more. The workshop aims to emphasize the importance of open communication and equal opportunity, and to demonstrate their effects on unit cohesion, mission accomplishment and mission readiness.
