Marine administrative message 231/14 announced the activation of an initial suite of language training courses on MarineNet as a part of the Regional, Culture and Language Familiarization Program. The language course is considered vital to the program. The program ensures that Marine units are globally prepared and regionally focused so they are effective at navigating the culturally complex landscape while operating in the 21st Century.
