Major Jeramie M. Connor
Commanding Officer

Major Connor is a native of Edgewood, Kentucky. Major Connor reported to Officer Candidate School on 9 July 2011 for Platoon Leaders Course (PLC) Juniors and returned the following May for PLC Seniors. Following graduation, Major Connor returned to Thomas More College to complete his final year of college. Major Connor was commissioned on 18 May 2013. Second Lieutenant Connor reported to The Basic School on 3 December 2013 and graduated 25 June 2014.

In July 2014, Second Lieutenant Connor reported to Field Artillery Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and graduated in December 2014. Upon graduation, Second Lieutenant Connor reported to Sierra Battery, 5th Battalion, 11th Marines aboard Camp Pendleton, California.  Second Lieutenant Connor served as Platoon Fire Direction Officer (FDO), Battery FDO, and Guns Platoon Commander.  Second Lieutenant Connor was promoted to First Lieutenant in May of 2015.  From November 2016-May 2017, First Lieutenant Connor deployed as part of the Unit Deployment Program (UDP) to Okinawa, Japan.  During the UDP, First Lieutenant Connor attended Jungle Warfare Training and participated in multiple exercises across the Pacific Command to include Korean Marine Exchange Program 17.6.  Upon return, he assumed duties as the Battery Executive Officer for Sierra Battery from May-October of 2017.

First Lieutenant Connor was selected for recruiting duty and executed orders to Recruiting Station (RS) New Jersey in November of 2017.  In January of 2018, he was promoted to Captain.  As the RS Executive Officer, Captain Connor managed the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship Program, the Music Enlistment Option Program, the High School/Community College Program, all facilities, and the RS budget.  In 2020, Captain Connor requested a reserve commission and executed his EAS on 31 July 2020. 

Captain Connor was immediately assigned as the Executive Officer for Alpha Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion in Lexington, Kentucky.  From January-April 2023, Captain Connor attended Military Police Officer Basic Course 1-23.  In May of 2023, Captain Connor assumed command of Charlie Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion in Dayton, Ohio.  Major Connor promoted to his current rank in July of 2023.

As a civilian, Major Connor was an FBI Special Agent for three years, working mainly national security investigations.  Additionally, he served on the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team.  As part of the SWAT team, he conducted high-risk search and arrest warrants. He currently works for Thomas More University as a Military Liaison and Adjunct Professor.  He is also a small business owner of Thy Kingdom Nation Apparel, a faith based, activewear apparel line.  Additionally, he is a full-time doctoral student at Liberty University, pursing a PhD in Strategic Leadership. 

Major Connor’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in lieu of second award, Select Marine Corps Reserve Medal, Recruiting Ribbon, and Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
