Biography

 

Captain Clark E. Jensen
Inspector-Instructor
Oscar Battery, 5th Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment

Captain Clark Jensen is a Nebraska native who attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012. During his time in college he enrolled in the Platoon Leader's Course and graduated OCS in 2015. In May 2016 he graduated from the University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and accepted his commission as a Second Lieutenant. 

Second Lieutenant Jensen graduated from The Basic School in 2017 and then graduated from Marine Artillery Officer Basic Course in 2018. In March 2018 he was assigned to 3d Battalion, 11th Marines Fire Support Battery and was promoted to First Lieutenant in May 2018. First Lieutenant Jensen was assigned to 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion where he served as the Company C Fire Support Officer and deployed on the Unit Deployment Program to Okinawa Japan.

In August 2019 First Lieutenant Jensen was assigned as the Fire Direction Officer for Battery K, 3d Battalion, 11th Marines. In January 2020 he was assigned as the Executive Officer for Headquarters Battery. In July 2020 First Lieutenant Jensen reported to the Field Artillery Captains Career Course at Fort Sill, OK and was promoted to the rank of Captain in August 2020. Captain Jensen graduated FACCC in December 2020. 
 
On 4 January, 2021 Captain Jensen reported to Battery O, 5th Battalion, 14th Marines aboard Naval Weapon Station Seal Beach. He currently serves as the Battery O Inspector-Instructor.
