Inspector-Instructor Sergeant Major, Combat Logistics Battalion 453 Sergeant Major Bryan Fuller

Sergeant Major Fuller enlisted in the Marine Corps on July 17th, 1996 from Wichita, Kansas and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego for recruit training.  He was assigned to Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion. 

After graduating from MCRD San Diego, PFC Fuller was assigned the Military Occupation Specialty of Aviation Ordnance Technician (6541).  He reported to Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida for training.  After graduating Ordnance Common Core School, PFC Fuller reported to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina for follow on training.   

In April 1997, Lance Corporal Fuller reported to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 31, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina.  While assigned to MALS-31 Corporal Fuller participated in numerous deployments and exercises including Combined Armed Exercise, Weapons and Tactics Instruction, (3) Unit Deployment Programs to Australia, Guam, Korea and Japan.  In June 1999 Corporal Fuller deployed to Hungary as a Quality Assurance Safety Observer and Ordnance Technician supporting operations in Kosovo.   

In February 2001 Sergeant Fuller reported to Drill Instructor School MCRD San Diego, Ca.  After graduation Sergeant Fuller was assigned to Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion.  During his tour as a Drill Instructor, Sergeant Fuller served as a Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor and Battalion Drill Master. 

In January 2005 Staff Sergeant Fuller was assigned to MALS-12 in Iwakuni, Japan as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge for the Munitions Department.  During this assignment Staff Sergeant Fuller participated in numerous exercises in Alaska, Australia and Korea.  While stationed in Japan he attended both the Career Course and the Advanced Course in Okinawa, Japan.  

In January 2008 Gunnery Sergeant Fuller was assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 369 as the assistant Ordnance Chief.  In November 2008 Gunnery Sergeant Fuller deployed with HMLA-369 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Gunnery Sergeant Fuller was then forward deployed to the Forward Operating Base Sal Sinjar in order to support operations conducted along the Syrian border. 

In March of 2010 he was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant and reassigned to serve as the Company First Sergeant, Company K, Marine Combat Training Battalion, SOI West.  As the Company First Sergeant for Kilo, First Sergeant Fuller executed 14 training cycles consisting of more than 4,500 students in a 2 year time frame. 

In November of 2012 First Sergeant Fuller was assigned to 2D Battalion 11TH Marines, Golf Battery for duty as the Battery First Sergeant.  During his tour with 2D Battalion 11TH Marines, First Sergeant Fuller deployed with BLT 2/5 in support of the 31ST MEU, participating in SSANG YOUNG 2014 and numerous exercises throughout the Pacific. 

In August of 2014 First Sergeant Fuller was assigned as the Headquarters First Sergeant, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, California.  First Sergeant Fuller served as the MWTC Headquarters First Sergeant until February 2016 where he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major. 

In February 2016 Sergeant Major Fuller was assigned to his present duty as the I&I Sergeant Major of CLB-453 in Aurora, Colorado. 

Sergeant Major Fuller’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal (Three Gold Stars in Lieu of Fourth Award) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal.
