Age 31, Eureka, California Capt. Lamont was killed while conducting combat operations near Al Hillah, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, Marine Air Group 39, 3rd Marine Air Wing, Camp Pendleton, California. He died on May 19, 2003.

Age 22, Kenai Peninsula, Alaska Cpl. Lasky was killed while conducting combat operations in the Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division and attached to Regimental Combat Team-7, I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He died on November 2, 2006.

Age 26, Mt. Vernon, Indiana Sgt. Lee died from an aircraft mishap near Ghazni Afghanistan. He was assigned to Marine fighter Attack Squadron 142, Marine Aircraft Group 42, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marietta, Ga. He died on April 6, 2005.

Age 31, Mount Clemens, Michigan Staff Sgt. Lehto, died in a non-hostile incident in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve’s Marine Wing Support Group 47, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Mount Clemens, Michigan. He died on December 28, 2004.

Age 27, Woodbridge, Virginia Capt. Letendre died while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to the Inspector and Instructor Staff, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve in Plainville, Connecticut. He died on May 3, 2006.

Age 27, Petoskey, Michigan Cpl. Lindemuth died as a result of enemy action at Camp Hit, Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to Inspector/ Instructor Staff, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve in Akron, Ohio. He was attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He died on April 13, 2005.

Age 20, Chesterfield, Virginia Lance Cpl. Linn died as a result of combat operation in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, 4th Marine Division, headquartered in Lynchburg, Virginia. He died on January 26, 2005.

Age 24, Shelby, Ohio Lance Cpl. Lyons died while conducting combat operations in Cykla, Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Reserve’s 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Columbus, Ohio. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, his unit was attached to Regimental Combat Team-2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He died on July 28, 2005.
