Age 31, Eureka, California Capt. Lamont was killed while conducting combat operations near Al Hillah, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, Marine Air Group 39, 3rd Marine Air Wing, Camp Pendleton, California. He died on May 19, 2003.
Age 22, Kenai Peninsula, Alaska Cpl. Lasky was killed while conducting combat operations in the Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division and attached to Regimental Combat Team-7, I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He died on November 2, 2006.
