Celebrating Unity, Battle of New Orleans Bicentennial Chalmette Battlefield

Volunteers reenact as Scottish Highlanders during a color guard demonstration, Jan. 8, 2015 at the Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve in New Orleans. A series of living history events were held at the Chalmette Battlefield in Chalmette, La., to commemorate the bicentennial of the 1815 Battle of New Orleans.
