Readiness

Sticky notes are placed on a whiteboard at the Marine Corps Software Factory (MCSWF) in Austin, Texas, 17 - 29 March, 2025. Marines assigned to the Marine Innovation Unit (MIU) are assisting MCSWF in the development and production of software solutions that address critical needs for the Marine Corps, including an update to ARES that predicts helicopter landing zones based on topographical data. MIU is a Selected Marine Corps Reserve unit headquartered in Newburgh, N.Y. that accelerates the development and adoption of advanced capabilities across the Marine Corps.
