First Lieutenant Chad J. Twenter

Military Police Company Alpha

First Lieutenant Twenter is a native of Camp Lejeune North Carolina.  He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2006.  After graduating from Recruit Training and MCT, he reported to the Military Police basic course in Fort Leonard Wood Mo.  Upon Completion of the Military Police Basic Course, First Lieutenant Twenter reported to and served as a Military Policeman and traffic collision investigator with the Provost Marshal’s office, Cherry Point North Carolina. 

In 2009 Corporal Twenter received orders to MP Company, Combat Logistic regiment (CLR) 27, II Marine Logistic Group, Camp Lejeune North Carolina where he served as a fire team leader.  In May 2009 Corporal Twenter Deployed on the 26th MEU where he served as a team leader and was in support of the relief effort of the Pakistan floods, and Operation Odyssey Dawn in Libya. 

In May of 2011, Corporal Twenter redeployed to MP Co, CLR 27 where he was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  In December 2011, Sgt Twenter executed orders to 2nd Advisor Training Cell, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Headquarters group, 2nd MEF, Camp Lejeune North Carolina, where he deployed as the senior enlisted MP advisor to the Afghanistan Nation Police in the district of Musa Quala, Afghanistan. In December of 2012, Sgt Twenter redeployed to Camp Lejeune.    

In May of 2013, Sgt Twenter received orders to Headquarters Battalion, Camp Butler Okinawa Japan for duties as a traffic collision investigator.  During this Time Sgt Twenter served as a traffic collision investigator and the traffic collision investigation chief.    

In March of 2015, Sgt Twenter executed orders to Security and Emergency Services Battalion, Camp Pendleton where he served as the traffic collision investigation chief.  In December of 2015 Sgt Twenter was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. 

In June 2018 SSgt Twenter was selected for the Enlisted Commissioning program (ECP) and reported to Officer Candidate School (OCS), Quantico Virginia.  In November of 2018 he was commissioned as a 2ndLt. Upon Completion of OCS 2nd Lt Twenter returned to Camp Pendleton until April of 2019 where he would then reported to Delta Company 4-19, The Basic School, Quantico Virginia. In November of 2019 2ndLt Twenter graduated the basic school and received orders to 2d Law Enforcement Battalion, Camp Lejeune where he attended the Military Police officer basic course, Fort Leonard Wood Mo.  In April 2020 2ndLt Twenter graduated the MP Officer basic course and reported to 2d Law Enforcement Battalion where he would serve as a platoon commander until the unit was disbanded.

In July 2020 2ndLt Twenter checked into the Provost Marshal’s office on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point NC and was assigned as a platoon commander.  During this time 2ndLt Twenter was in charge all security and law enforcement measures aboard the air station.  In November he was promoted to 1stLt and was reassigned as the assistant services officer.  In October 2021 1stLt Twenter was reassigned as the operations officer until May 2022 when he received orders to 4th Law Enforcement Bn. Alpha Co. where he currently serves as the Inspector Instructor.
