Chief Petty Officer Forcadilla, a native of Pittsburg, California, enlisted in the United States Navy in October 27, 1998. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, Illinois where he completed Basic Hospital Corpsman “A “school training. He reported to Field Medical Service School at Camp Pendleton, California where he completed Field Medical Technician training and earned the Navy Enlisted Classification of “8404.”.
His first duty station was Naval Hospital Okinawa in 1999 where he served as a general duty Corpsman in many different facets within the hospital. His fleet assignment includes 1st Force Service Support Group (FSSG) 1st Medical Battalion, Camp Pendleton, CA from February 2002- February 2004. During this tour, he has earned his Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare (CSSE) Specialist. He also served with 1st Marine Division 1st Battalion 4 Marines Camp Pendleton, CA from March 2004 – June 2005. During this tour he earned his Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare (GCE) Specialist. Both tours forwarded deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His next duty station was Naval Medical Clinic, Naval Base San Diego as a general duty Corpsman. At the end of his tour he reported to Naval School of Health Sciences, San Diego, CA. He completed his Advanced Radiology Technician School and earned the Navy Enlisted Classification of “8452”. He was assigned to Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital Twenty-nine Palms, CA his next duty station in April 2008. His next assignment he served as the Leading Petty Officer of Ancillary Services Division with the Naval Branch Health Clinic Port Hueneme, Port Hueneme, California from February 2014-July 2016. Selected for advancement to Chief Petty Officer in September 2016, he was assigned as Leading Chief Petty Officer for Naval Branch Health Clinic Port Hueneme Medical Homeport Department.
HMC Forcadilla is currently assigned to 4th Marine Corps Logistics Group, 4th Dental Battalion Inspector & Instructor staff as Senior Enlisted Leader.
HMC Forcadilla is a graduate of Trident University International, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. He has also completed Navy Medicine Center for Professional Development Executive Medical Department Enlisted Course and Clinic Management Course.
His decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards, 1 with combat distinguishing device “V”), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and various unit and campaign awards.
