First Sergeant Feliz is a native of the Dominican Republic and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts.  He enlisted in the Marine Corps in December 2003.  He attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, where he was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Private First Class.  After graduating recruit training he attended Marine Combat Training (MCT) at Camp Geiger, North Carolina.  Following completion of MCT, he attended Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) school at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for Engineer Equipment Mechanic (1341).

In June 2004, First Sergeant Feliz received orders to 2d Maintenance Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where he served as an Engineer Equipment Mechanic. In August 2004, First Sergeant Feliz attended secondary MOS school at Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for Small Craft Mechanic (1342).  In November 2004, First Sergeant Feliz was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal.  After completion of MOS school he reported back to his command where he was issued orders to the 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).

In November 2005, First Sergeant Feliz was promoted to the rank of Corporal, and deployed with the 22dMEU in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He was responsible for the units Heavy Equipment Section.  After redeployment, First Sergeant Feliz received orders to 2d Marine Special Operations School, and then sent on temporary additional duties to 2d Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  First Sergeant Feliz worked in the Boat Locker and supported numerous dive and jump operations.  In February 2007, First Sergeant Feliz was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and soon deployed as an Enabler with Hotel Company, Marine Special Operations Team 1 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. 

In December 2009, First Sergeant Feliz reported to Marine Corps Detachment, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.  He served as an Instructor, and Class Advisor for Soldiers and Marines.  First Sergeant Feliz completed the voluntary based program to become a Master Instructor in his MOS.

In December 2011, First Sergeant Feliz executed orders to Combat Logistics Battalion 3 in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.  He served as the Platoon Sergeant for Maintenance Platoon.  In October 2013, First Sergeant Feliz was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant, and served as the S-3 Training Chief.  In June 2014, First Sergeant Feliz participated in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2014 as the Watch Chief aboard the USS Rushmore.

In December 2014, First Sergeant Feliz was assigned as a Canvassing Recruiter with Recruiting Station Springfield, Massachusetts.  In February 2016, First Sergeant Feliz received inter-district move to Recruiting Station Buffalo, New York.  Soon after arriving, Recruiting Station Buffalo, disbanded, and he was assigned to Recruiting Station Albany, New York.  In October 2017, First Sergeant Feliz was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. After a successful tour, he received orders on December 2018 to 7th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB), Camp Pendleton, California.

While assigned to 7th ESB, First Sergeant Feliz served as the Company Gunnery Sergeant for Engineer Support Company.  First Sergeant Feliz participated in Operation Border Support.  He then deployed in support of Marine Rotational Force Darwin 19.2, Australia, where he served the billet of Future Operations Chief.  After redeployment, First Sergeant Feliz deployed in February 2020, in support of the Special Marine Air Ground Task Force ARCTIC EDGE 2020.  After redeployment, First Sergeant Feliz served as the Maintenance Management Chief.  First Sergeant Feliz was promoted to his current rank on May 2021.

In May 2021, First Sergeant Feliz reported into Marine Corps Advisor Company, Bravo, in Concord California.  He currently serves as the Inspector Instructor First Sergeant.

First Sergeant Feliz currently holds an Associate’s degree in General Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, and is currently on the Presidents List while studying a double Master’s program in Emergency and Disaster Management, and Homeland Security with American Military University.  First Sergeant Feliz’s personal decorations include the Purple Heart, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with two gold stars in lieu of third award, Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal with four bronze stars in lieu of fifth award, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and the Recruiting Ribbon.
