Private Pardee initially enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard (ANG) in July of 2005 as an all-wheeled diesel mechanic. After a year and a half of service she decided to cut her ANG contract short and enlist in the Active Duty Marine Corps. In December 2006 Recruit Pardee arrived at Parris Island, SC and then graduated as Honor Graduate in March 2007. Private First Class Pardee then attended the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense school in Fort Leonard Wood, MO, where she attained the MOS 5711.
In September of 2007, Lance Corporal Pardee arrived at Camp Pendleton, CA and checked into the CBRN Defense Platoon with Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division and was then meritoriously promoted to Corporal in September of 2008. From March 2010 to March 2011, Corporal Pardee deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan where she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in June 2010. During the deployment she worked as the Operations Chief's Assistant, the Headquarters Diesel Generator Mechanic, Command Operations Center Journal Clerk, and Narcotics Destruction Team Leader and Instructor/Trainer.
In July of 2011, Sergeant Pardee arrived at the Chemical, Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF) in Indian Head, MD. During her tour at CBIRF, she conducted training and response drills all over the United States. She served as a personal decontamination leader for VIPs during the 2012 Presidential Inauguration and two joint sessions of Congress.
Sergeant Pardee was selected to become a formal schools instructor and reported to the CBRN School house in Fort Leonard Wood, MO in August of 2013. From August 2013 to March 2017, she instructed over 600 CBRN Basic Course students, 50 CBRN Staff Noncommissioned Officers, 25 CBRN Warrant Officers and served as the CBRN Basic Course Chief. In January of 2015 she was promoted to Staff Sergeant.
In March of 2017, Staff Sergeant Pardee reported to Headquarters Regiment, 3rd Marine Logistics Group in Okinawa, Japan as the Regimental CBRN Chief and Training Chief. While there, she trained the Filipino Army CBRN team and served as a force evaluator during joint training exercises. Staff Sergeant Pardee was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant in October of 2018 and immediately took control of the CBRN Response Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) on Camp Hansen. With the MEU, she deployed twice on the USS Wasp and conducted joint training operations in Australia and Korea.
In January of 2020, Gunnery Sergeant Pardee volunteered to become a Marine Security Guard (MSG) Detachment Commander. She graduated from the Marine Corps Embassy Security School in March 2020 and in June 2020, reported to her first post as the Detachment Commander in Nairobi, Kenya. In August of 2021, Gunnery Sergeant Pardee arrived in Moscow, Russia to complete her second assignment as a MSG Detachment Commander. In January 2022, GySgt Pardee was honored as the 2021 MSG Detachment Commander of the Year.
First Sergeant Pardee was promoted to her current rank in July 2023 and reported to her current post, Site Support Folsom, Inspector-Instructor duty to serve as the Senior Enlisted Leader for 25th Marine Regiment, Truck Company, 1st and 2nd Platoons.
First Sergeant Pardee has been awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with 3 stars and the Navy Achievement Medal with 3 stars.
