Sergeant Major Alan B. Daigle
Command Senior Enlisted Leader
3rd Force Reconnaissance Company

Sergeant Major Alan B. Daigle is a native of Pearland, Texas, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in September 2005. He attended Recruit Training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. Private First Class Daigle completed the Assault Amphibian School in January 2005 as the Honor Graduate and was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal with the MOS of Amphibious Assault Vehicle Repairman (2141). From January 2006 to April 2008, Lance Corporal Daigle was assigned to the 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, Bravo Company, Camp Lejeune, NC, where he was promoted to the ranks of Corporal and Sergeant. Also holding the billets of Maintainer and Platoon Maintenance Chief.  

Corporal Daigle deployed in October 2006 with Company B, 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While deployed, Corporal Daigle was struck by an enemy-placed improvised explosive device and received the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat action. Upon return, Corporal Daigle attended the Marine Corps Integrated Maintenance Management Course. In March 2008, Sergeant Daigle deployed with Company B, 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, attached to the 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

In November 2008, Sergeant Daigle reported to the Marine Corps Security Forces' School in Chesapeake, VA. Upon completing the Basic Security Guard Course, he attained the MOS of (8152) and was assigned to the Security Force Guard at Marine Corps Security Force Battalion, Kings Bay, GA. Sergeant Daigle Attended the Sergeant's Course at the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Academy in Camp Lejeune, NC. Sergeant Daigle was selected for the rank of Staff Sergeant in 2012.  

In December 2012, Sergeant Daigle reported to the Inspector Instructor Staff at Company C, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, Galveston, TX. During this time, Sergeant Daigle was promoted to Staff Sergeant and served as the Company Maintenance Chief, Ground Safety Manager, and Environmental Compliance Officer.

In September 2014, Staff Sergeant Daigle transferred from active duty service to the Selected Marine Corps Reserves and was affiliated with Company C, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, Galveston, TX. While assigned to Company C, Staff Sergeant Daigle was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and served as the Company Logistics Chief. In May 2018, Gunnery Sergeant Daigle was picked up by the Security Cooperation Team - Jordan and served as a Foreign Security Force Advisor to the Jordanian Special Forces Group.

In August 2019, Gunnery Sergeant Daigle was frocked to his current rank of First Sergeant. Upon frocking, First Sergeant Daigle attended the First Sergeants course at the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Academy aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico. Upon completing the First Sergeants Course, First Sergeant Daigle was assigned as the Company First Sergeant, Company C, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, San Antonio, Texas. After successfully deploying the Unit Deployment Platoon from Company C, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, First Sergeant Daigle was transferred to serve as the Company First Sergeant with Company B, 4th Reconnaissance BN.

In June 2022, First Sergeant Daigle was assigned as the Company First Sergeant to Apollo Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment in Houston, TX. First Sergeant Daigle was selected to his current rank of Sergeant Major in 2023. Sergeant Major Daigle currently serves as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader at 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division. 

Sergeant Major Daigle's personal awards include the Purple Heart, Navy Commendation Medal with one gold star in lieu of second award, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one gold star in lieu of second award, Combat Action Ribbon, and Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal with two bronze stars in lieu of third award, Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal, Armed Forces Reserves Medal with Mobilization device, and the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
