HMCS(FMF) Wayne W. Holder
Unit Senior Enlisted Leader
Surgical Company A, 4th Medical Battalion

Senior Chief Holder is a Texas native. He enlisted in the Navy on 26 July 2006 through the delayed entry program. Following boot camp graduation on 13 July 2007 he attended Navy Hospital Corps School in Great Lakes, IL. He then went of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune to attend Field Medical Training Battalion East where he earned his L03A NEC.

HMCS Holder reported to Naval Operational Support Center Waco on 13 April 2008 where he was assigned his first reserve duty. He was assigned to Operational Health Support Unit Dallas Detachment Q quickly rising to the rank of second class petty officer. He then served with 2nd battalion 14th Marines from July 2011 to May 2013. He returned to the renamed Expeditionary Medical Facility Dallas in 2013. He was selected to promote to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in 2017. He moved to Naval Medical Forces Support Command in January 2019. He joined Surgical Company Alpha 4th Medical Battalion in January 2023 where he promoted to Senior Chief and serves as Company Senior Enlisted Leader.   HMCS also serves as program administrator for 4th Marine Logistics Group TCCC training program, member of BUMED’s reserve TCCC exportable training cadre since 2010 and train the trainer TCCC instructor since 2020.

Senior Chief Holder holds a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in political science, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
