First Sergeant Paul R. Peacock
UNIT SENIOR ENLISTED LEADER

First Sergeant Peacock enlisted in the Marine Corps in November 2001 and attended recruit training at MCRD Parris Island, SC in December 2001. First Sergeant Peacock then reported to Infantry Training Battalion (ITB), School of Infantry - East, Camp Geiger, NC, receiving the primary MOS of 0311.

In June 2002, First Sergeant Peacock was assigned to 1st Battalion 3rd Marines, Kaneohe Bay, HI. Shortly after he deployed to Okinawa Japan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Philippines. In July 2004, he was deployed once again, this time on the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (SOC) is support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In November 2004, he was assigned as an Assistant Team Leader, Scout Sniper Platoon for Operation Phantom Fury, Battle of Fallujah. After the Battle of Fallujah, he was sent to Rutba, Iraq in support of the first Democratic Elections.

From January 2006 to January 2010, First Sergeant Peacock was assigned to Instructor Battalion, The Basic School TBS. Shortly after, he was re-assigned to the Infantry Officer Course IOC, as an enlisted instructor and logistics chief.

In 2010, First Sergeant Peacock made the transition to the Reserves. His first assignment was to Weapons Field Training Battalion, Quantico VA. within the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) program.

In 2011, First Sergeant Peacock was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant and joined the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) detachment at Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, Quantico VA. There he served as an analyst in weapons and technology, as well as
an operations chief.

In 2015, First Sergeant Peacock joined the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) detachment at Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico VA. He was mobilized and served as a contingency operations manager and the SNCOIC of the newly formed Cyber Acquisitions Team.

In 2019, First Sergeant Peacock was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and joined Marine Corps Advisor Company - Alpha, Washington DC. There he served as an infantry tactics advisor to Central Europe. He also served as the Operations and Training Advisor. During his time as an advisor, he received the MOS of 0570, Marine Advisor.

In 2023, First Sergeant Peacock was promoted to his current rank and is assigned Landing Support Company, Combat Logistic Regiment - 45, Savannah GA., where he is serving as the Company First Sergeant.

First Sergeant Peacock graduated from University of Maryland University College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Homeland Security and a Minor in History. His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Ribbon and various other Service and Campaign medals.
