First Sergeant Zachary M. Siceloff
UNIT SENIOR ENLISTED LEADER
Charlie Co., 4th Combat Engineer Battalion

First Sergeant Siceloff enlisted in the Marine Corps and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC, in May 2003. Upon successful completion of recruit training in August 2003, he attended both Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger and Administrative School in Camp Johnson, North Carolina. 

After successfully completing these schools, Lance Corporal Siceloff joined H&S Company, 4th Maintenance Bn, 4th Marine Logistics Group in Charlotte, NC, in November 2003. In May of 2005, Lance Corporal Siceloff was activated in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and retrained as a Civil Affairs NCO. In August 2005, he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom to Ar Ramadi, Iraq with 6th Civil Affairs Group, Det 2 Team 4, and was attached to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines. During this time, Lance Corporal Siceloff was combat meritorious promoted to Corporal, and the unit was recognized for their mission during the first Iraqi elections.

After demobilizing from 6th CAG in 2006, Corporal Siceloff returned to 4th Maintenance Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group. In August of 2009, Sergeant Siceloff was activated and assigned to Wounded Warrior Bn East, Landstuhl, Germany. While mobilized, he served in the roles of troop handler, hospital liaison, and casualty team chief, earning his Marine Corps Martial Arts Black Belt Instructor tab. 

In October 2011, Sergeant Siceloff was reassigned to Wounded Warrior Bn West, Naval Hospital Balboa detachment in San Diego, CA. In February 2013, he was promoted to Staff Sergeant and was reassigned to Wounded Warrior Bn East at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. As a Staff Sergeant, he served as a Section Leader and Platoon Sergeant, and was selected as the Regimental Leader of the Year for FY14. 

In July 2016, Staff Sergeant deactivated and reassigned to Reserve Support Platoon 4, supporting transitioned service members and IRR Marines. He was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in February 2019 and reassigned as the IGMC Inspection Chief at 4th Force Headquarter Group in New Orleans, Louisiana. 
In 2022, Gunnery Sergeant Siceloff was reassigned to the newly established Marine Innovation Unit in Newberg, New York, serving in the Advanced Capabilities Branch.

In August of 2024, Gunnery Sergeant Siceloff was selected for promotion to First Sergeant and in January 2025 he was assigned to Charlie Company, 4th Combat Engineer Battalion. 

First Sergeant Siceloff is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified, has earned Bachelor's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Wake Forest University. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon.
