First Sergeant Timothy M. Bundy
Unit Senior Enlisted Leader
Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment

First Sergeant Bundy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on April 25th, 2005, and completed recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC with a Meritorious Promotion to Private First Class. Upon completion of Recruit Training, First Sergeant Bundy reported to the School of Infantry (East), at Camp Geiger, NC. First Sergeant Bundy completed the School of Infantry (SOI) in Oct 2005 earning the Infantry Rifleman (0311) Military Occupational Specialty.

From Oct 2005 to Nov 2006 First Sergeant Bundy was assigned to Company F, 2d Battalion, 25th Marines, in Albany NY where he was promoted to the ranks of, Lance Corporal and was selected as the Guide for the Company.

In Nov of 2006, First Sergeant Bundy moved to Washington State and attached to 6th Engineer Support Battalion in Portland Oregon. First Sergeant Bundy completed Basic Combat Engineer training in May 2007 with distinction as the Class Leader and earned the Combat Engineer Military Occupational Specialty 1371.

In June of 2007, First Sergeant Bundy deployed to Iraq with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During his deployment, First Sergeant Bundy was awarded Marine of the Quarter for 4th MLG. While assigned to 6th ESB First Sergeant Bundy was promoted to the ranks of, Corporal, and later received a meritorious promotion to Sergeant and received the Marine Engineer of the Year Award. He also earned the MOS of 0916 (Martial Arts Instructor), and 0917 (Martial Arts Instructor Trainer).

In March of 2010 First Sergeant Bundy received Active-Duty orders to Marine Corps Base Quantico Manpower and Reserve Affairs, as a Funeral Honors Coordinator. In 2011 he was selected to become the Investigations Tracking Chief for HQMC Casualty. During this assignment he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant as well as the Military Occupational Specialties of Combat Marksmanship Coach (0931) and Combat Marksmanship Trainer (0933).

In 2013, First Sergeant Bundy assumed the role as Company Gunnery Sergeant for C Co, 4th Combat Engineer Battalion (CEB), Lynchburg Virginia. During his time in 4th CEB, First Sergeant Bundy earned his 2d Degree Martial Arts Instructor Trainer Tab, and was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.

In 2018, First Sergeant Bundy was selected as the Marine Air Ground Task Force Planning Chief and was assigned to Marine Forces Europe and Africa (MARFOREUR), in Stuttgart Germany until Aug of 2019. During his time with MARFOREUR, he earned the rank of First Sergeant.

In Aug of 2019, First Sergeant Bundy was assigned as the First Sergeant for Headquarters and Service Company, 2d Battalion, 25th Marines, in Garden City NY.

In January of 2021, First Sergeant Bundy was assigned to his current billet as the Battery First Sergeant for Headquarters Battery, 2d Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment.

First Sergeant Bundy's civilian education includes a Master of Business (MBA) in Project Management, Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Leadership.

First Sergeant Bundy's personal decorations include: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with 1 Gold Star, Meritorious Civil Service Medal, and the Marine Engineer of the Year Award.
