Gunnery Sergeant Bedolla enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in September 2008 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, in May of 2009. Following recruit training Private Bedolla completed Marine Combat Training aboard Camp Pendleton, CA and subsequently attended the Marine Corps Cannon Crewman Course (MCCC) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Private First Class Bedolla graduated within the top five in his class from MCCC, this earned him meritorious promotion to Lance Corporal.

Following completion of MCCC, Lance Corporal Bedolla was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment at Camp Pendleton, California. Upon arriving to his new unit, Lance Corporal Bedolla was meritoriously promoted to Corporal. In Feb of 2011, Corporal Bedolla deployed on the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) during this time he held the billets of Fire Team Leader while assigned to the Tactical recovery of Aircraft Personnel and Assistant Section Chief. Upon his return, Corporal Bedolla attended M777 Howitzer Section Chief Course at 11th Marine Regiment Artillery Training School. In May of 2012, Corporal Bedolla was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Sergeant. While still apart of 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, Sergeant Bedolla would deploy three more times and would serve in the billets of Section Chief, Local Security Chief and Platoon Sergeant until February of 2016.

Sergeant Bedolla executed Permanent Change of Station orders to Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (MCSEG), Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA and was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in November of 2016. While assigned to MCESG, Staff Sergeant Bedolla held the billets of Marine Security Guard and Detachment Commander. While assigned to Detachment Beirut, Lebanon, he was awarded the Department of State Medal, Superior Honor Award. Following assignments to Brussels, Belgium and Lahore, Pakistan.

In May of 2019, Staff Sergeant Bedolla executed orders to 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines. On July of 2019 Staff Sergeant Bedolla assumed the duties of Battery Gunnery Sergeant for Battery E. In November of 2020, Staff Sergeant Bedolla would take Battery E, on deployment with the 31st MEU. Staff Sergeant Bedolla was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant on September of 2021 and was assigned as the Headquarters Battery Gunnery Sergeant.

In January 2022, Gunnery Sergeant Bedolla received orders to Battery O, 5th Battalion, 14th Marines in Seal Beach, CA where he is serving as the Battery Gunnery Sergeant.

Gunnery Sergeant Bedolla personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Gold Start in lieu of second award, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Department of State Medal Superior Honor Award and the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara.
