Gunnery Sergeant W. A. Arnett
I-I Senior Enlisted Leader, A Co, ISB

GySgt Arnett graduated from Yukon High School in 1988.  He entered the Marine Corps as an SMCR Marine in June of 1997 and graduated from the Navy-Marine Corps Intelligence Center (NMTITC) as a Basic Intelligence Analyst in February of 1998.  He immediately reported to his first Reserve Unit, 14th Marines Regiment (NAS JRB Fort Worth).  He transferred to 3rd Bn, 24th Marines-H&S (St Louis, MO) in 1999 upon deciding to return to college and complete his Bachelors of Arts, of which he received in 2003. 

In 2004, while in the Individual Ready Reserve component, he was mobilized and sent to Marine Forces Europe (MFE).  While in the MFE/G-2 from 2004-2006, he was an intelligence analyst in the who weekly briefed the Command Staff, monthly briefed the Commanding General, was a member of an MTT that travelled to Moldova and several North African countries delivering basic intelligence training to their military staffs.  He returned to the NMITC in April of 2006 at graduated from the MAGTF Intelligence Chief’s Course.    



GySgt Arnett left MFE in September of 2006 and moved to San Diego, CA, where he was placed on orders with A Co, ISB, as the Company’s first Training Chief.  He applied and was accepted to the Active Reserve Program in February 2006 and maintained his billet as the Training Chief and took on an additional billet of Production Chief.  In 2010, he PCS-ed to C Co, ISB, in Quantico, VA, where he was the Operation’s Chief and Senior Enlisted Advisor.
