First Sergeant Hall graduated high school in California in 1993, and then attended Western State College in Gunnison Colorado. After graduation in 2001, he enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve. Upon graduation from United States Marine Corps Recruit Training and Marine Combat Training in San Diego, California, he completed MOS school at Camp Johnson, North Carolina, and subsequently reported to Marine Air Control Squadron-23 at Buckley Air Force Base, Aurora, CO as an Embarkation Specialist.
He served with MACS-23 from March 2002 to June 2004 as an Embarkation Specialist.
Cpl Hall reported to Marine Air Control Squadron-1 in June 2004, and deployed to Iraq with MACS-1, serving as an Embarkation Specialist in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
In July 2005, Cpl Hall reported back to MACS-23 and continued to serve as an Embarkation Specialist until August 2006.
Sgt Hall next volunteered for deployment with the 4th Civil Affairs Group from August 2006 to September 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served as a Civil Affairs Team Chief in support of the Government Support Team and 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment in Ramadi, Iraq.
Upon reenlistment in October 2007, SSgt Hall reported back to MACS-23, where he served first as the S-4 Chief and later as the Squadron Gunnery Sergeant.
From January 2012 to January 2013 Gunnery Sergeant Hall once again deployed, this time to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Reporting to the 1st Civil Affairs Group, he served as a Team Chief (April 2012 to May 2012) in the Garmser District, Afghanistan, and later as the District Liaison in Kajaki District, Afghanistan (May 2012 to October 2012).
From January 2013 until June 2014, Gunnery Sergeant Hall served as a Detachment Chief with 1st Civil Affairs Group at Camp Pendleton, California.
First Sergeant Hall reported for duty in June 2014 with Intelligence Support Battalion Production and Analysis Company. He is currently serving as the Intelligence Support Battalion Production and Analysis Company’s First Sergeant.
In his civilian profession, First Sergeant Hall serves his community as an Assistant Principal at Martin Luther King Jr. Early College in Denver, Colorado.
First Sergeant Hall’s personal awards include Navy Commendation Medal with (1) star, Navy Achievement Medal with (1) star and the Combat Action Ribbon.
