New Orleans -- Marine administrative message 075/15 announces the nomination and selection process for the Fiscal Year 2014 Department of Defense honorary civilian awards.
Each year, the Headquarters Marine Corps Civilian Workforce Management Branch Labor and Employee Relations section conducts a board to select recipients for the awards. The awards recognize Marine Corps civilian employees and private citizens who distinguished themselves through their professional achievements, community contributions, and personal conduct.
The awards include the Roger W. Jones Award for Executive Leadership, the Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Award, and the DoD Distinguished Civilian Service Award.
For each award, the Marine Corps Incentive Awards Board will select one nominee to represent the Marine Corps on the Department of the Navy-level awards board.
