ABOUT

Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-19 is a live-fire and maneuver combined arms exercise designed to train battalion and squadron-sized units in tactics, techniques, and procedures required to provide a sustainable and ready operational reserve for employment across the full spectrum of crisis and global engagement.

ITX 4-19 is an essential component of the MARFORRES training and readiness cycle.  It serves as the principal exercise for assessing a unit's capabilities.

Marine Reservist designs fleet equipment at NAWCWD China Lake
NAWCWD electronics technician Isaac Graham operates a portable laser designator during a test at the Laser Instrumentation and Designation test facility at China Lake. Graham is a Marine Reservist who works for Weapons Division when not fulfilling his Marine responsibilities. Graham has the unique opportunity to develop equipment as a civil servant that impacts his mission while serving as a Marine in combat. "The lasers and laser guided weapons systems I test and evaluate today could be the very thing that saves my life one day," Graham said.
