Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. – Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 453, Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group, MARFORRES, take down the forward battalion aid station during Integrated Training Exercise 4-17 in Twentynine Palms, California on June 23, 2017. The Marines relocated the BAS throughout the training evolution to maintain close proximity with and provide rapid response to potential casualties of 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, MARFORRES, during the final battalion exercise of ITX 4-17.
