Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. – Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 453, Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, plan the best route to transport medical equipment between forward aid stations during Integrated Training Exercise 4-17 in Twentynine Palms, California on June 23, 2017. The Marines relocated the battalion aid station to maintain close proximity with 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, MARFORRES, decreasing the chance of heat causalities during the final battalion exercise of ITX 4-17.
