From 31 July to 14 August, CLB 451 (-)(REIN) provides forward DS and GS logistics to JTF-85 IOT enable joint task force projection functions and conduct tactical sustainment to maximize maneuver element ability to execute area defense, offense and stability operations in support of the reestablishment of the legitimate border of Gorgas.

Marine awarded MARFORRES Marine of the Year

Smith, the repairable issue point chief for MARFORRES G4 (logistics and services), was awarded the medal after he was selected as the MARFORRES 2012 Marine of the Year (active component).
