ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Assumption of Command and Appointment Ceremony

Mills, the commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, gives his remarks to Marines and guests during the MARFORRES assumption of command and appointment ceremony aboard Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Aug. 28, 2013. Mills is taking charge of the largest command in the Marine Corps, encompassing more than 100,000 Marines at more than 160 sites in 47 U.S. states, Guam and Puerto Rico.
