ITX provides the premier live-fire combined arms training venue to assess readiness of designated units in support of Strategic Reserve Mobilization Requirements."

U.S. Marines assigned to Marine Air Ground Task Force 25, conduct Integrated Training Exercise 4-23 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, June 5 through June 26, 2023. As the Marine Corps Reserve’s premier annual training event, ITX provides opportunities to mobilize geographically dispersed forces for a deployment; increase combat readiness and lethality; and exercise MAGTF command and control of battalions and squadrons across the full spectrum of warfare. JB MDL- HMLA 773 (-) Aerial Gunnery, 22 February 2025

The Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 (HMLA 773) ordinance team, uploads and arms a Cobra AHT-1Z and in preparation for day/night aerial gunnery missions with a full contingent of 40 mm rockets and 20mm gatling gun rounds at JB MDL. The squadron is based at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst, NJ and falls under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 49 (MAG-49).
