ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Every-day American hero: Lance Cpl. Taylor Janis
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Lance Cpl. Taylor Janis, a light-armored vehicle crewman with Company E, 4th Light-Armored Reconnaissance Battalion here, is pinned by his company commander at an awards ceremony, Sept. 14, 2013.
