ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. Remembering Senator Conrad Burns
Marines with 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, begin to fold the flag that draped the casket of Conrad Burns, former U.S. Senator, during the memorial service at MetraPark’s Rimrock Auto Arena, May 6, 2016. The ceremonial folding and presentation of the flag is a tribute to the veteran's family. Burns served in the Marine Corps from 1955-1957 and also served as a U.S. Senator from 1989- 2007. Marine Forces Reserve performed 91 percent of all funeral honors rendered by the Marine Corps in calendar year 2015 and continues to provide timely and professional support to veterans.
