ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. Battle of the Big Easy AGF Tournament held at the Alario Center in New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS – Marine Forces Reserve Legion, a mixed martial arts team comprised of Marines from Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, participated in the Battle of the Big Easy American Grappling Federation tournament at the Alario Center in New Orleans, Aug. 6, 2016. Marines of all experience levels competed in multiple fights throughout the day that resulted in MFR Legion winning a team total of 22 medals with 10 gold, nine silver and three bronze.
