Boots on the ground: Marines participate in bicentennial parade

Lt. Gen. Steven A. Hummer, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, and Sgt. Maj. Robert Hightower, division sergeant major of 4th Marine Division, salute the Marines of Marine Forces Reserve during the Louisiana bicentennial military parade Nov. 10. The parade was held on the 237th anniversary of the Marine Corps' founding in 1775. Marines celebrated their birthday with a cake-cutting ceremony following the parade through downtown New Orleans.
