Line of Duty (LOD)

LOD is a document authorizing benefits for an illness, injury, or disease incurred or aggravated while a Reservist was in an active duty or IDT status.  Reservist must report any illness, injury, or disease incurred or aggravated during a period of active duty or drill as soon as possible after occurrence and prior to termination of such duty.  HQMC makes final determination on approval of all LOD benefits.

For more information please contact the MCIRSA LOD section.

Reservists that are injured at his/her civilian job or any time prior to active duty or drill must submit medical documentation stating type of injury, prognosis (how long member is expected to not be in a full duty status), and duty limitation.  Member must be evaluated every 30 days to substantiate TNPQ status.

For more information please contact the MCIRSA TNPQ section.

Post Deployment Health Re-Assessment (PDHRA)

DOD has established the PDHRA program to support all Servicemembers that have returned from a combat deployment since February 2004.  This requirement is different from the Health Assessment you completed while you were still on Active Duty after returning from deployment. Any Servicemember who has returned home from deployment since February 2004 is required to complete the PDHRA survey DD-2900. Navy Medicine and the Marine Corps has teamed up with Logistic Health Inc. (LHI) and licensed health care professionals who will assist you in completing the survey.  All you have to do is contact LHI Call Center at 1-888-734-7299 and choose option 3 to complete your DD-2900.

For more information please contact the MCIRSA PDHRA section.
