ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Lance Cpl. Caleb Eudy, with Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, is awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal on Parris Island, S.C. April 26, 2019. An Arab, AL native, Eudy was diagnosed with Lymphoma when he went through recruit training in 2016; after 956 days in recruit training and on medical hold, he achieved his dream of becoming a Marine.
