ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

UNITAS 2022
Service members from Brazil with the Grupamento de Mergulhadores de Comabte, Marinha do Brasil (Brazilian Navy Combat Divers Group), Hombres Ranas de Infantería de Marina de Ecuador (Ecuadorian Marine Corps Frogmen), Las Fuerzas de Operaciones Especiales de la Marina de Guerra del Perú (The Special Operations Forces of the Peruvian Navy), and U.S. Navy SEALs assigned to a Naval Special Operations Team, conduct movement to their insert point via a Combat Rubber Raid Craft during a dive mission as part of exercise UNITAS LXIII in Rio de Janeiro, Sept. 12, 2022. UNITAS is the world's longest-running annual multinational maritime exercise that focuses on enhancing interoperability among multiple nations and joint forces during littoral and amphibious operations in order to build on existing regional partnerships and create new enduring relationships that promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the U.S. Southern Command’s area of responsibility.
