ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Indiana Marine awarded the 2013 Gunnery Sgt. John Basilone Award for Courage and Commitment

Staff Sgt. Alec Haralovich stands with his family, friends and fellow Marines for the retiring of the colors during the Gunnery Sgt. John Basilone Award for Courage and Commitment ceremony here, May 19, 2013. Haralovich was awarded the honor for keeping the memory of Gunnery Sgt. John Basilone alive. He said his accomplishments would have not been possible if it was not for the constant support his family has provided throughout his deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan over the years. He is assigned to Company E, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve.
