ABOUT
Reserve Mobilization Exercise 26 (RMX-26) is an annual, distributed exercise designed to evaluate and validate Marine Forces Reserve’s ability to rapidly activate, stage, and deploy combat-ready forces on short notice. Conducted nationwide across the 4th Marine Division, 4th Marine Logistics Group, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and Force Headquarters Group, RMX-26 stress-tests the complete mobilization pipeline, including administrative processing, medical readiness, embarkation, and tactical movement under realistic timelines. This rigorous assessment directly identifies logistical and operational friction points, sharpens joint interoperability, and ensures Marine Forces Reserve stands ready to immediately augment the active component during crisis or conflict.
