The band conducted their holiday performance “Santa Meets Sousa.” The performance was part of their yearly Toys for Tots tour, where they accepted new, unwrapped toys from audience members to give to less fortunate children during the holiday season.

On a "Mission to Save Christmas" Marines from Marine Aircraft Group 49 along with other service members and volunteers off-load "Fat Albert", the Blue Angles C-130 Hercules, that flew in with a cargo bay full of toys collected by Marine Toys For Tots and donations by Toys R Us, Hasbro Inc., and Lockheed Martin for children in the Tri-State area affected by Super Storm Sandy Dec. 3, 2012, to the MAG 49's hangar at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst . (Dec. 14, 2011) - A young boy of the Havasupai tribe gets excited as U.S. Marine Corps Medium Helicopter Squadron 764 (HMM-764), 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, flies a CH-46E helicopter into his tribe's home in the Grand Canyon. HMM-764's mission was to join the Flagstaff Community Toys For Tots Organization in delivering Santa Claus and toys to the children of the tribe, as well as conduct training exercises throughout the Grand Canyon as part of Operation Havasupai.
