Sergeant Major Jennifer N. Morales

Sergeant Major Jennifer N. Morales is a native of Providence, Rhode Island. After graduating high school in 2007, she enlisted in the Marine Corps and attended recruit training at Parris Island, SC. Upon completion of recruit training, Private First Class Morales attended Marine Combat Training (MCT) at Camp Geiger, NC. Following her completion of MCT, Private First Class Morales reported to Naval Air Station (NAS) Meridian, MS for Maintenance Data Specialist school.

After leaving NAS Meridian in November 2007, Private First Class Morales received orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 31 (MALS-31) aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, SC. While assigned to MALS-31, she was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal and Corporal.

In July 2009, Corporal Morales received orders to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115 aboard MCAS Beaufort to be the Data System Analyst and NCOIC of her section. While there she did two Unit Deployment Programs within the Western Pacific region and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in October of 2010.

In June of 2012, Sergeant Morales received orders to Drill Instructor School, Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island, SC. In October 2012, she began her tour of duty as a Drill Instructor with November and Oscar Company. In June 2014, Sergeant Morales was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.

In September 2015, Staff Sergeant Morales executed orders to Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 225 aboard MCAS Miramar, where she did a Unit Deployment Program supporting operations abroad. While there, she served as the Division Chief for her section. In May 2017, she received temporary orders to Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA and returned to VMFA(AW)-225 after one summer cycle as a Sergeant Instructor.

In September 2017, Staff Sergeant executed orders to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 314 in MCAS Miramar, where she deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. While there, she served as the Division Chief for her section.

In July 2018, Staff Sergeant Morales received orders to Officer Training Command Newport in RI, and was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in August of 2018. Upon completing her second tour as a Drill Instructor, she received orders to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 314 and in November 2021 to Marine Aerial Refueling Squadron 352.

In March 2022, she received orders to First Battalion, First Marines where she was the First Sergeant for Company C and deployed with the unit to the 31st MEU.

In August 2024, First Sergeant Morales received orders to First Maintenance Battalion where she was the Headquarters and Service Company First Sergeant.
 
In March 2026, she was selected to her current rank of Sergeant Major, and reported to 1st Battalion, 25th Marines to be the Inspector Instructor Sergeant Major in Fort Devens, MA.

Sergeant Major Morales' personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (w/3 gold stars in lieu of forth award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (w/ 1 silver star in lieu of sixth award).
