Cpl. Lasky was killed while conducting combat operations in the Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division and attached to Regimental Combat Team-7, I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He died on November 2, 2006.
