Lance Cpl. O’Donnell died while conducting combat operations in Babil Province, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2^nd Battalion, 24^th Marine Regiment, 4^th Marine Division, Marine Corps Reserve, Chicago, Illinois. He died on November 8, 2004.
