Biography

 

Captain Joshua A. Twitty
Commanding Officer
Support Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion

Captain Joshua A. Twitty received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte in 2012. After graduating, he attended Charlotte School of Law and graduated in 2015. In August 2018, he completed Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.

After commissioning, Second Lieutenant Twitty reported to The Basic School and graduated in March 2019. He then reported to the Military Police Basic Officer Course and graduated in November 2019. Upon graduation from Military Police Basic Officer Course, Second Lieutenant Twitty reported to B Company, Fourth Law Enforcement Battalion where he served as a platoon commander. 

In January 2021, First Lieutenant Twitty attached to II MEF and deployed as the Antiterrorism/Force Protection Officer to the Republic of Georgia in support of the Georgia Deployment Program-Resolute Support Mission. While serving as the Antiterrorism/Force Protection Officer, First Lieutenant Twitty was deployed to Rota, Spain in August 2021 in support of Operation Allies Refuge.

From October 2022 to January 2024, First Lieutenant Twitty served as the aide de camp to the Commanding General of Force Headquarters Group.

His personal decorations included the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
