Captain Lott is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Adamsville high school in 2017. He then attended Freed-Hardeman university in Henderson Tn on a baseball scholarship. Captain Lott reported to Officer Candidate School on 9 June - 15 August 2020. First Lieutenant Lott graduated college on 18 May 2021 and commissioned the same day. Captain Lott checked into The Basic School on 4 October 2021 and graduated 13 May 2022.
Upon completion of The Basic School, Captain Lott checked into his first duty station of Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort. In July of 2022, Captain Lott reported to the Military Police Officer Basic Course, graduating on 28 October 2022. Captain Lott started as a Platoon Commander for fourth platoon. After 2 years as a Platoon Commander. In April of 2024, he changed billets to become the Special Enforcement Section Commander and Liaison officer for the Provost Marshal, working on Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island.
Captain Lott received orders to 4th Law Enforcement Battalion to serve as the Inspector-Instructor of Alpha Company. First Lieutenant Lott checked in to Alpha Company on 15 May and is currently the Inspector-Instructor.
Captain Lott was promoted to Captain on 8 July 2025.
